Oh Megatokyo

Death by Dom would be a more appropriate name for this strip. let me tell you this up front, I don't own Megatokyo or Dom the shirt guy. Megatokyo belongs to fredrin, or just Piro for the guys who actually read the comic, and Dom the shirt guy belongs to Dominic Nguyen A.K.A. Dom. (That and to be fair, there was one strip in MT volume one [copyrighted by the way,] that featured the guys from Penny Arcade.) 

Between the writer and the artist, I feel fairly neutral when it comes to which version's better. I think comedy is at it's best in comics form, while drama can really pull your heartstrings, but you can't really have good drama without good comedy. Also I think humor webcomics are popular on the internet because you're more likely to remember something funny over something depressing, not that depressing's bad. Yet at the same time, comedy isn't something you can just force, it has to come naturally. I don't hate Fred Gallagher's drama, nor do I think Rodney Caston's comedy was better. I just feel neutral. 

OH, and one more thing, as soon as post these to the Deviantart groups I'm in, I'm getting out of them: FOR GOOD. Now it's not that I think they're evil or anything like that, it's just that I, (no offence,) don't want to put up with a bunch of faceless admins. I don't hate these people, I've never seen or known these people, it's just that I'm tired of constantly being told, "You put it in the wrong folder." I didn't invest a few hours of my time drawing and posting them on Deviantart just to hear that. And if it's not the ONE thing I hear, it's the ONLY thing I hear. But that's not what bothers me: What REALLY bothers me is one time I posted my Old Naked Guy drawing to a group that didn't accept sketches. When I got the usual wrong folder message, I said whatever and moved on. But the straw that broke the camels back, came to me when that same admin commented; "Glad you got with the program." Program? WHAT PROGRAM?!! That really ticked me off in more ways than one as you can tell, and it really got me thinking: Why am I with these groups at all? The more I thought about it the angrier I got. I want to be an independent creator, but I can't be independent if I'm sucking up to a bunch of faceless admins. (Didn't I already say no offence?) I know this'll definitely mean less people will see my work and I don't care; I'd rather be alone by myself than alone and miserable in a crowd. I'd be more than content with only a little corner of the internet, so I hope you'll respect my decision...
